I don't often get the opportunity to hear jazz performed live. Usually
it's when dining at the Blue Water Grill (formerly the Metropolitan Jazz Club)
at Manhattan's Union Square. When I recently heard Mike Jones perform live
at the opening of the Penn & Teller Show at the Rio, it was pure magic for
me. I mean that in the best possible sense I appreciate the intricacies and little
surprises that one finds in jazz pieces, and Mike Jones is a master magician in
that sense, when it comes to his music. I'm definitely hooked on Jonesy. Have
two of his cds, and will be purchasing more.

Greetings from S.Paulo, Brazil. As a dedicated stride player I became astonished
when heard your first record. Since then I am promoting your music to jazz people
in Brazil and Portugal. Congratulations and keep up with this music. Now let me
run to buy your other cd´s. Sergio

Now I have an example I can point to when I tell my piano teachers what my goals are as a pianist. Heard you play Saturday night (10/23/04) at the Rio and enjoyed your playing very much.

All I can say is WOW!!! I went to the Penn & Teller show last Thursday night and was totally blown away when I heard you and the box viewing music! I wish I would have got there at 8:00 instead of 8:30 - I thoroughly enjoyed your music. Penn & Teller was their eclectic best as well!!!

I loved your playing when we saw Penn & Teller, but didn't buy a CD. Next
trip to Las Vegas, I went to the Penn & Teller theatre--but only to buy your
CD after the show. I have listened many times. You are fantastic. I will get your
other CD's. Keep Playin'!
